Summit Registration Information
The 2009 Pennsylvania Summit on Educational Excellence for Latino Students is open only to residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Pre-registration is required for Pennsylvania residents. A separate registration form should be completed for each individual attending the summit. Please click here to register online for the summit.
Act 48 Professional Development
The Center for Schools and Communities, as a division of the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, offers Act 48 Professional Development credit for those with Pennsylvania teaching or administrative certificates. To receive credit, participants must attend workshops from beginning to end and MUST list their Professional ID # on the appropriate Act 48 paperwork supplied at the event. If you are unsure of your Professional ID # you can look it up prior to the event, by going to the Pennsylvania Department of Education website (www.pde.state.pa.us) and clicking on the "Act 48 Reporting System" link under the Access Services column and then click on the "Get Your Professional Personnel ID" link and complete the required information.
Additional Information for Registrants
Submission of your summit registration authorizes the Center for Schools and Communities to publish in any format and use for promotional and educational purposes your name and any photos, videos and audio recordings taken of you at the summit. It also authorizes the Center for Schools and Communities to contact you by mail, phone, or email.
